Obedient Beast

I am a selfish woman.

I've never cared about anyone. I didn't care when they slit my parent's throats, there bodies tumbling off their thrones seconds later. I didn't care when they enslaved my people. I didn't care when they took my castle and riches for themselves.

Though I did care when the new king tried to execute me for being a princess of the fallen people. I did care when the beastly man threatened to kill the new king for threatening me.

The same man who the new king shook like a leaf before. The same man who destroyed my navy with his strange abilities and slayed my armies with his bare hands.

A man I had never met before. A man who looked at me like I was the sun and moon and the stars above. A man who follows me around like a Puppy, obeying my every wish.
