"You're terrified," a voice said.

She turned sharply. A man leaned against a lamppost, his sharp eyes watching her. Dev Raichand.

"You've been following me," she accused, her voice shaking.

"Only because you move like prey," Dev responded, stepping closer. "You don't know how to exist in this world, do you?"
