The sunshine cricketer, the annoyingly talkative friend, the amazingly sweet person, the shoulder to all crying hearts, was all gone. It took one shock, one incident to end it all. To make it all fade away, to make it disappear in thin air.

Now, friends were just teammates, emotions were stern, and feelings were avoided.

With the consistency of bad form throughout the whole previous season, this season the mentor had given the responsibility of the team captaincy of KKR to him. Having a great responsibility on his shoulders, everything seemed to have suddenly worsen more, but he had to do his best to make this season count. No matter what he couldn't let his team down, and he planned on doing everything to make it happen.
