They started out alone... Bailee and her 3 year old sister were left alone and their parents and older brother dead. Bailee didn't even know how to drive. With Bailee thinking she was going to have to leave her sister alone for the walkers. Bailee just kept driving trying not to cry so she doesn't get her sister worked up and crying. All Bailee and Brittany had was diapers, clothes, gas, gun, bullets, and cooking knives. Until they find a group, they immediately took them and took care of them. Bailee finds a guy, she may or may not like... The rest is history...

Hello! So I've been asked to write a walking dead fanfiction a couple times now, I know the series is over but never late then ever am I right? With that being said TWD is a long ass series I'm not sure how long I'll do this for. I am starting by season one of the series just cause it makes more sense and gives me more wiggle room for developments. Some things will change from the original plot, if you don't like it then I'm sorry but don't read it. Eventually I'll stray away from writing word by word of what the characters say, just cause it's a lot to go back and forth to watch the episode to see what exactly was said and done. Athena was traveling around the country seeing her family after losing her husband in a car accident a year before the fall. She thought that they were perfect for one another and losing him shook her to her core. She was in Georgia when the world started to go to hell. After traveling alone for few months into the apocalypse, she stopped to sleep in the woods when she heard two engines stop late into the night. She went closer to the camp, snapping a twig. Then small whispers. A man with a southern twang (appropriate to the area) spoke in a hushed but urgent tone. Athena just caught the end of what he had been saying: "This isn't a democracy anymore!" Shortly after making her presence known, she gets to know the members of the group she heard whispering little by little, though they are hard to let her in to the group at first.
