Keigo tossed his keys onto the console table by the door, the metallic clink breaking the silence as he finally let out the yawn he'd been suppressing all day. The soft click of the door shutting seemed to mark the end of a long, grueling day-or so he thought.

"Long day?"

The voice rippled from the shadows, smooth and sardonic.

Keigo froze, every instinct flaring to life as he whirled toward the sound. His hand flew to his hip, fiery wings spreading defensively as his sharp eyes locked on the figure sprawled on his sofa.

It wasn't the confident stance of a predator he faced, though. The intruder was slumped, his eyes unfocused, yet there was no mistaking him. The man who always had the last word. The one who issued threats with a devilish grin and disappeared before anyone could make good on them. The ghost no one could catch-unless he wanted to be caught.

And now, Touya Todoroki, drunk and disheveled, was sitting in Keigo's living room.
