The life of Audrey Simmons hadn't always been a normal one. The currently-16 year old girl had been diagnosed with Optic Nerve Hypoplasia when she was younger, and it had been just now that the effects were beginning to kick in. Though not without good reason. During this tough adjustment she also has to confront her former friend, Leona Cassel, who has also suffered from a disease that took away her sight. But eversince she's gone blind, it seems as though Leona intends to disrupt Audrey's lifestyle indefinitely. But Audrey doesn't know what Leona knows, and will soon come to discover that her loss of sight will give her vision to a whole new world.

I get how some people may feel like the bits they get on the way to the romantic high point aren't hot and heavy enough for them personally. To me, I love a build up and it is worth it. But if that's not your cup of tea and you prefer the books to be more about the relationship and love from the beginning - please try a different story by the amazing authors on this platform.
