Nothing Comes For Free

The apocalypse broke out in 3018. What was initially a case of rabies quickly developed into an uncontrollable outbreak, and the cure that had once been effective only served to evolve the disease to craze humans until they died. Even after death, however, a once harmless fungus had found a way to take control of the brain and bring it back.

People were immediately evacuated into space. However, as the rich and lucky few thrived orbiting the Earth, the unlucky majority were forced to stay on the ground and fend for themselves. Only a few hundred people managed to survive.

Eleven years later, the people in the stars decided it was time to check on the Earth, and hopefully reclaim it for themselves. But the people in the trees and the cities have opposing ideas.

This is the first book of the trilogy called 'Nothing Comes For Free'. Book 2, 'Bones Are Bound To Break', is currently in the process of being plotted and written.
