I'd describe it as spicy but with lots of emotional angst. It's got hurt/comfort galore and an age gap (28 and 41). It features lots of knotting, scenting, mpreg, explicit scenes of cutting and self-harm, suicidal ideation, sexual abuse (in the past, not between the two MMCs), dubcon and issues of consent.
