"I'm sorry."

I almost laughed at that. I scoffed, raising an eyebrow at her.

"You're sorry?"

She looked on the verge of tears as she nodded.

"I'm sorry," she repeated.

"Oh yeah?" I said. "Well guess what?"

She didn't say a word, letting me continue.

"I don't care. Go die and burn in hell, bitch."

~~~~~~~
Kira Abbott is your average moody, introverted, teenage girl. Or, at least, she was. That all changed when she started high school and met her best friend: Lilly Stanley.
Having no friends from her middle school at her high school as they all went to different high schools, Kira was friendless when she first started. And being the closed off introvert she was, she didn't attempt to make new friends; she didn't want to. Until a certain girl bumped into her in the hallway in school. Since then, the two have been inseparable. Well, Kira hated her at first, thinking she was annoying for being around her all the time. But she soon grew fond of this new company she had, and soon a new friendship had blossomed. Little did they know, however, that not every flower survives. And when you play with fire around one? Well, the ending isn't always so great.
'Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer'; a popular saying that Kira was the best at following. Well, the last part at least.
Yeah, she was the best at keeping her enemies close to her.
