[𝐌𝐌] ╰┈➤ 𝑻𝒉𝒐𝒔𝒆 𝒘𝒉𝒐 𝒅𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒏𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒔𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒅𝒆𝒄𝒂𝒚. ── For a century, Midgard has rotted from within. The dead do not rest; they rise. Draugr, cursed remnants of the underworld, stalk the realm of mortals and spread Liik --- plague that turns the living into the damned. In desperation, the gods offer divine blessings to chosen humans, demanding unwavering faith in return. With the opening of a gate to the underworld, the kingdom of Ásveldi witnesses their very own undoing. 𝑶𝒅𝒆𝒍 𝑨𝒏𝒔𝒆𝒍 is no chosen one. As a weather boy among the Blessed Ones, he bears no gift from the gods; only a fierce hope to cure his sister, who teeters on the edge of undeath. He's got a secret, bigger than what anyone could imagine. For a decade, he's lived in the shadows of a lie, pretending to be who he is not. But there is one who has chosen him. The prince of Ásveldi. The man whom no one has seen since the opening of the gate. The one they call 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑹𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒏. At every turn, every waking moment --- he is there. Watching Odel. And to make matters worse, his hunter squadron gains a new captain, one that makes Odel realize that the hate in his heart isn't just reserved for the undead. For he is 𝑮𝒓𝒊𝒎𝒏𝒊𝒓, the bastard whose name takes after the old Ásveldi children's tale. When his squadron is tasked to travel to the underworld in search of the cure for Liik, Odel must push aside his hatred and work with his sworn enemy to save the realm from hell.
