'Butterflies' is a collection of short twisted stories with a range of different themes, inspired by Mariana Enriquez (especially her book: 'The Dangers of Smoking in Bed' of which I suggest you check out)
Themes of these stories range from cannibalism to murder. This story is not for the faint of heart and may make some viewers uncomfortable. Warnings for what this book contains will be in the first chapter (this will be updated as more stories are added to fit). For your own sake, please be careful on reading the book if any of themes mentioned in the first chapter would make you uncomfortable (I will try and add some warning at the beginning of the stories themselves without revealing the entire plot).
These stories aren't meant to harm anyone. They were created either to explore concepts, like child innocence; express a message or moral of the story, or play with literary techniques. These were inspired mostly by the writing of the previously mentioned book alongside with the current state of the world and other external factors that may be referenced at the end of the story.

"But you're scared." He finished, running his fingers down her neck and to her collar bone, following the chain of her necklace, making her shiver, "So responsive." He murmured to himself. "Yes." "I knew if I wanted a relationship, I should find someone else. But I didn't want anyone else and I still don't." I managed to take his arm from around my waist without waking him up. Sighing with relief I was about to move closer to the edge of the bed but he grabbed me again, muttering something in his half asleep state. I tried to release his grip again but he woke up, grinning as soon as he seen me. His sleepy blue eyes looked at me. "Where are you going?" his grin widened. "I have to go." I whispered quietly, looking around the room. I really did have to go, I was supposed to be staying away from him wasn't I? The sun hadn't come up yet, it was still in the early hours of the morning. "Don't go." He groaned, pulling me in closer and squeezed my waist. I could sense his smile as he kissed my forehead. I didn't know what to do, his arms were more than inviting and I really didn't need a lot of convincing but I was starting to get tired of this secret thing again. Sure, Eric and I got along great, I really enjoyed his company but was it really worth lying to everyone about? *************** What happens when wallflower Florence and jock Eric decide to keep what's between them a secret? Can Florence really not get herself too attached and keep herself from getting hurt? The two are keeping some secrets of their own too, will they ever be discovered? He smirked, knowing he was on the winning side. "So it's a done deal for three months?" He raised his eyebrows, putting his hand forth for a handshake. I looked at the long fingers and perfectly aligned nails and then at his patient face. Sighing to myself I my own hand into his and ignored the tingles that flowed through every nerve as his fingers curled around my hand and shook it lightly. "Yeah three months." "Goodnight then." He winked, removing his hand from mine and turned to walk away. "Hey wait!" I called out, suddenly remembering something. "You don't have my number." "What makes you think that? I have my ways Smith." And with one last wink I saw him take a turn and disappear from my sight. I let out a long breath, leaning on the nearby wall. Looks like I just made a deal with the Devil. * A sarcastic girl, a cocky guy. Throw in some mystery, murder, filthy jokes, wonderful friends, tons of kisses, secrets, surprises, eye-rolls and a killer on run.
