After being brought to the NightClan camp by Dewfur, Lunakit is raised alongside Petalkit, Splatterkit, and Skykit, believing herself to be of NightClan blood. All she can remember from her past is a gray sky full of snowfall, which convinces her to team up with her best friend Brindlekit to solve the mystery of the scorching heat of this year's leaf-bare. Stormpaw knows his place. Despite being the son of the deputy of AquaClan, he knows he'll never amount to anything more than an average warrior. His greatest fear is being a disappointment to his family, and to lose his sister - Cloudypaw, who he knew was always destined for greatness. But when two wandering apprentices stumble upon one of his patrols, he feels compelled to help them. Why? He has no idea. Cherrykit is desperate.
