When Lumine finally meets Aether again in front of the Defiled Statue of the Seven, she chooses her brother - and by extension, the Abyss - over her friends without hesitation. Heartbroken by the betrayal, Paimon sets out to get her back. After all, who is she without the Traveler?

Meanwhile, Lumine still isn't quite sure about her decision. Nothing feels right. Aether is more distant, and it's hard to return to what she had after so long. But she's already chosen, and there's no turning back now. After all, she's gotten what she started her journey across Teyvat for. Right?

So sorry for inconsistency I try my best to keep it all mostly canon as possible but with the whole story being made it's honestly impossible lol)

Aether was captured by the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles and is now stranded in the world of Teyvat. A common starting to the story of the traveler, however this one is a bit more different than the usual. As in this one, Aether will be more competent as he will use the skills and knowledge he accumulated on his vast journeys to his advantage in this new world. This is the story of the powerful and amazing traveler, Aether! A/N: So this is my new book. I have been playing Genshin for 3 years now and one thing I noticed is that there aren't many Aether centric fanfics. Usually they are just shipping fanfics, not that I don't enjoy them. Also, it is known that Aether and Lumine have seen stars being born and die, and were said to have travelled a lot. As such, their performance in Teyvat is a bit lackluster. Even if their powers have been sealed their knowledge and memories are still there (don't know about the sibling part) and their bodies aren't that weak. Yet they manage to be defeated again and again. I like Aether as I chose him but his skill set in the game is not that great and he has great potential for power, Navia's story quest can show us that. And so I aim to show that by writing this fanfic. This is a Aether x Harem fanfiction by the way. Enjoy.
