Zim mysteriously disappeared without warning when Dib was 15.
Fast forward 5 years. A now 20-year-old Dib Membrane is still mourning the loss of his greatest nemesis- and the chance to expose Zim once and for all. Now living life with a degree in Parapsychology, and a less exciting side job at his father's company, Dib's life could have once passed for a desirable future. Only, he regrets not exposing Zim while he had the chance.
Dib has become unhealthily obsessed with the dilemma, and clings to the hope that he may one day return to earth.
This is a series called Invader Zim: Phase Two. It was originally planned to be a fan comic, but it would be too time consuming for me. I will feature my own art regularly to accompany the story. This series will consist of many parts, which I will refer to as Issues! It's my personal continuation/ reimagining of Invader Zim. Everything in the show, Movie and Comics remain canon. Some of the unaired episodes are also canon in my universe. There will be very light ZADR, (Somewhere in the distance, Jhonen Vasquez is banging his head off a table right now-) but nothing heavy. It won't get 'weird'. I like to keep things as close to canon as possible. Dib is an adult in this. If you don't like it, don't read it. Simple. I don't support ZADR unless Dib is aged up. Enjoy!

I just love the concept of an alien living on earth in an attempt to take it over, all while finding out how cruel his so-called leaders are. Plus, FBI shit is fun-- Dib is 17, Gaz is 16, Zim is 162 (17 in human), Tak is 160 (15 in human), Youjiro (my OC) is 118 (18 human years( different species have different age differences)), and Gir is 7 years old. Double Crossed (Invader Zim)
Book Cover by User Moxuu_ After realizing that they're bored without bashing each other's antics, Dib and Zim befriend each other. Soon after, Zim finds himself on an autopsy table, and believes Dib to be the culprit. Thinking quickly, he travels back in time to when he befriends Dib, intending to stop the event from taking place. But in the process, he finds out that Dib wasn't planning anything of the sorts. Now without a disguise, Zim must team up with his greatest enemy (and at the same time his only friend) to find who else in this world of idiots would know Zim's true identity. Side note, this book does contain ZaDR (Zim and Dib Relationship) so if you don't like ZaDR, I'm telling you now that you can leave. As well, this book is a work of fiction-within-fiction, meaning that it is NOT canon to the show. It takes place after the events of Mopiness of Doom (an unaired episode, which you can watch on youtube in the form of either an animation project or an official script reading, neither of which are mine.) and doesn't fully follow the canonicity of future (unaired) episodes. If you haven't seen Mopiness of Doom, some elements of the story may not make sense.Complete

In this au Purple and Red love and is overprotective of Zim. Zim didn't feel the same but doesn't know how to reject his leaders. Who knows what they'll do? Zim finds a way to escape by asking for a mystery mission. Purple and Red saw how happy Zim was and just couldn't find the heart in them to refuse.
