Fallen from the nest

In a gloomy boring town there was a boring girl. She had her own thoughts on life and was rather opinionated. She kept to herself at school just like everyone else in her town. There was no fun here or none that she had found or seen. No kids played pranks and it seemed as if there was never laughter filling the streets. Maybe that's just the way she saw the world.
