This is an oc Skyrim fanfic. There are obviously a ton of characters from the game that are not mine, so keep that in mind.

When Nox and Briar were raised by Karliah, Mercer Frey was busy thinking he'd killed the mother of his daughters. But he was wrong. Ghislaine Crowcaller was saved, only to die after giving birth to her twins.

Now, 25 years later, the twins have a plan forming with their surrogate mother. Karliah, Nox, and Briar all have an idea. They will kill Mercer, avenging the deaths of Gallus and Ghislaine.

But there's a romance blooming between the newest Guild recruits and other members of the Guild. Briar is falling for Rune, the mysterious orphan found by a fisherman in a shipwreck. Nox is falling for Sapphire, the standoffish thief with a strong sense of sarcasm.

Not to mention, Brynjolf, one of the Guild leaders, is falling for Karliah herself. But can she put aside her love for Gallus, who's dead, for a man who is alive? And can the six of them save Nocturnal and her realm from Mercer Frey and his traitorous actions?

And once they come before the Daedric Prince of Shadows, can Karliah decide who will become a Nightingale, like her? Will it be Nox, Briar, or Brynjolf? Only three of them can be Nightingales. And what will they do about Sapphire and Rune knowing about their Nightingale identities? Will they be able to slay Mercer?
