Alexander has OCD, AHDH, depression,anxiety Tourettes and is on the autistic spectrum. He was literally any therapists nightmare.He thinks no one would love him.
And then walks in John Laurens, warm, charismatic and comforting.
Oh and gay.
Alex has to get through plenty of embarrassment, tics, compulsive tendencies, trauma, depression,anxiety, OCD shit and a bunch of other hard things before he can get the courage to tell John.
And John has to get through a lot of internalized homophobia, convincing Alex about how amazing he is, trauma, anxiety and a lot of "therapy" from Peggy before he can get the courage to tell Alex.
Oh, and they have to do this all as roommates.
