Have you ever felt like your life was being narrated by a mysterious gossip, just like Lady Whistledown in Bridgerton?
That's the concept of my first novelette, inspired by the lyrics of "Unwritten" and the raw emotions of the Tortured Poets Department album by Taylor Swift, but my story is more of a dark genre. Actually this book is one of the requirements in our Grade 11 subject in STEM, I made this not for compliance but for my passion in writing.
Hi! I am Gino Jay G. Padar, the author of this published book. I am a 17-year-old student who juggles academics (STEM 11-A president), SSG President, a journalist and an athlete. But my true passion lies in storytelling. Though this is my first novelette, I've honed my writing skills through short dramas, online text-tula, and one-shot stories during my jejemon days.
Through this journey, I've learned valuable lessons such as don't rush the process, stay true to yourself, and always let your passion fuel your creativity. But above all, know when to pause, take a breath, and perhaps start on discovering new things. It's not about reaching the end, it's about the journey, even when the path ahead seems rough, you still need to continue.
Anyways, this story grapples on how you should not fall in love with a writer in the dark. A writer that has a strange way of unveiling the things that should stay hidden - a secret that meant to be unwritten.
Dear readers, get ready for a story where secrets spill like spilled tea, and the lines between truth and fiction blur. And ready yourselves to discover what happens if a writer reveals the "unwritten" truths.
When Jane Madarang's neighbor Natalie kills herself and leaves behind cryptic instructions, it's up to Jane and her classmates to unearth deadly secrets.
