As the Ash Settles, is my take on what happens to the group of companions after saving Baldur's Gate. As the ash settles and the drinks are pouring a familiar sensation washes over our Tav, the very same one that compelled her to attack poor Alfira in her slumber, perhaps defeating her sister was not just denying her father but in fact taking back her rightful spot as leader of the Bhaalspawn, perhaps Withers was indeed wrong. Questions left unanswered while still having to find a special artifact for Astarion to walk and in the sun and still beating heart to fear Karlach. Rated M for Mature. After running across a strange druid outside of Emerald Grove, he wonders if, maybe- just maybe- he can find a path to real freedom. Jalva left behind her roots as a druid long ago. An ex-soldier, a wanderer of Faerun, she returns to Baldur's Gate to find her way back into an upper-class social circle, hoping to find something to fill her monotonous days. But when she is abruptly captured and implanted with an Illithid tadpole, she finds all the excitement she wants and more, including in the form of a familiar face.

When Elara is kidnapped by a nautiloid ship and has a mind flayer parasite inserted into her brain, the only things on her agenda are getting home, and getting rid of the parasite. That is, until she comes across a handsome elf who is in the same predicament as her, and also happens to be a vampire. This story follows these two elves, both scarred from their pasts, both determined not to fall in love or anything so frivolous, along with a well-spoken wizard and a tiefling pulled straight from the Hells, as they journey to Baldur's Gate and try not to die in the process.

Fiona is a tiefling and she shows her undying support towards Shadowheart and Shadowheart can't help but notice how she is adorable and develops feelings for her. However, Gale, a magician just like Fiona falls in love with her first and Fiona and Gale have an enduring relationship. Shadowheart feels jealous and tries her best to get Fiona all to herself. She works with a fierce fighter named Lae'zel to try and find a way to become interwined with Fiona.Complete
