Lynn Gelmer loves nothing more than watching fireflies next to her favorite tree. One night after her crush tells her he's going to California, she meets talking firefly princess named Glow. Turns out Lynn's Firefly Tree is a portal to Planet Terra; a planet close to but unknown to Earth. On Terra, Fireflies, Dragonflies, Ladybugs, Moths, and Butterflies are just like us humans... only with wings and magic. Once at Firefly castle Lynn meets King Flicker, a young ruler with a hatred for humans caused by his parents murder. But the two must work together along with Glow to save the magic fading from Terra or the intire planet will die. In order to save everyone the trio must travel to the Moth Kingdom. On their journey they face many dangers and make many friends. As the Moth Kingdom becomes closer so do Flicker and Lynn. Close enough to become lovers perhaps?
