Dan can't help the way he is. It's an illness he can't cure, his depression, I mean. He knows he can't help the way he acts; it's just the way he is. But when he starts a new school and meets a mysterious boy named Phil, he notices that he starts to act a bit strange. He can't explain why he's acting strange, he just is.
Coincidentally, Dan and Phil are paired up to do a project, several in fact, so throughout this time does Dan find the reason being his strange behavior or is that just the way he is?
