Günlerden bir gün İskandinavya topraklarında ışık ve güzellik tanrısı olarak bilinen Odinin oğlu balder bir ziyafet gerçekleştiriyor. Bu ziyafete tam 12 kişi davet ediliyor. Yalanların ve hilelerin tanrısı olarak bilinen Odinin kan kardeşi Loki davetli olmadığı halde 13. Kişi olarak davete katılmak istiyor. Ziyafette çıkan bir tartışmada Loki herkes tarafından çok sevilen balder'i öldürüyor. Bunun üzerine Odin öfkelenip kan kardeşi Loki'yi dünyanın derinliklerinde kimsenin ulaşamayacağı bir mağaraya hapsetmiştir. 

Loki mağarada öldürülen oğlu narfi'nin bağırsaklarıyla bir taşa bağlı şeklide yatmaktadır. Loki'nin içinde  yatmakta olduğu mağaranın tepesinden ki sarkıtlarda dolanan dev bir yılan bulunmaktadır. Dev yılanın ağzından akan zehir Loki'nin gözlerine damlamaktadır ancak Loki'nin eşi singy elinde ki tahta kapla Loki'yi korumaya çalışmaktadır ama kap dolduğu zaman boşaltmak için uzaklaştığında ise dev yılandan akan zehir Loki'nin gözlerine damlamaktadır ve bu damlamanın etkisiyle dışarı da deprem yaşamaktadır . Mağaranın dışında yaşayan canlılar bu depremleri Loki'nin gazabı olarak tanımlarlar. Odin Loki'nin cezasını mahşer gününe (Ragnarok' a) kadar devam edeceğini söylemiştir. 

Ragnarok geldiğinde Loki haimdall ile savaşacak ve bu savaşın bir galibi olmayacaktır. Her ikiside savaşta ölecektir ve Ragnarok'un ardından da yeni dünya yaşamı başlayacaktır. Loki son nefesini vermeden önce ölen oğlu narfi'nin ve tüm yaşadıklarının intikamını almak istemektedir. Bir gün onun soyundan gelecek olan kişi sayesinde tüm yaşadıklarının intikamını almak istemektedir  ve orda bir lanet okumuştur.

Mr. Calmings is a rare species of fairy that's never been recorded in history but does exist. He possesses the gift of all energy in attacks or counter attacks. Erkenci Kuş: Broken Promises by TheWordsmythe

Snippets of alternate outcomes in the lives and enduring love story of Can Divit and Sanem Aydin. When I started out with this story, I only intended to loosely base the 'short piece' on the events in Bolum (Episodes) 17 & 18 however, I got such positive feedback, I decided to stretch it out a bit. I'm still unsure how far I will stretch it but so far, I'm enjoying writing it and will keep going till I run out of steam. I can't think of any show/movie that I've watched in recent times to which I have reacted as I did when I watched Erkenci Kuş. The characters hooked their claws into me and wouldn't let go. I rooted for Sanem and Can; cried and laughed with them; railed at and cursed their detractors and finally rejoiced over their reunion. However, the ending was so rushed. After all the angst we were put through with their relationship, I felt robbed of an extended happily-ever-after. What we were given was too short. I hope to right that wrong, amongst others, with this story. Though I only watched the show in Jan/Feb 2023, I have since rewatched it countless times. There were certain parts of the plot which wound me up so much so this is me writing what I wished had happened. Enjoy!

You and your clingy, needy self just annoyed me long enough, until I agreed ! You are filth in my eyes !" Then Mila grabbed arrow and bow, drew the bow with the arrow, aimed blindly and shot. "Yes, Loki ?" "Is Destiny with you ? She isn't at home..." As the tip almost touched Mila, and Odin wanted to scream stop, Mila stepped aside and Sigyn ran, apperently, ungracefully into a pillar. "Destiny ?", she asked unsure. "Did you ever come to the thought, that maybe she was right anyways ? That she maybe hid something from you ? Something terrible and she didn't want to stuff you full with details ?" "You mean that she just told me half of the story ?", Loki asked Odin confused. MOVED TO AO3 !!!
