HiveWings are most known for being related the NightWings through Clearsight. NightWings have powers to read minds and see the future if born under the moons. What If the HiveWings could have these powers? 

Bristletail, the moment he was born, heard many loud noises in his head, seeing vivid images. He felt scared. 

As he grew up, he still didn't know what was going on. He kept on telling all the other HiveWings, but they said he was crazy! Everything takes a turn for the worst when someone, or something was talking to him through his mind...

Spittlebug moved to Pantala to get a breath of fresh air from her busy hive life. She intended to create a farm and sell whatever she grew to the neighbouring kingdoms. Maybe even find a wife and settle down with some dragonets. Until she quite literally bumped into Meltwater. Not wanting to break the dragon's heart, she agrees on a date. Hopefully she wouldn't regret her choice... Meltwater had a hard life. She's repressed a lot of memories of her past, but she knows her and her best friend, Skink, have survived a lot. They kept each other alive while they were out on the streets, neither being wanted by their parents. But now, she was grown, and the two ran a shop together. And she managed to stumble her way into Spittlebug. She'd not the biggest fan of the small dragon, but she does come with free housing, and the HiveWing does seem attached... Will the pair eventually find a romantic spark, or will the relationship go up in flames? And how far along will it go? Well, lets find out... (This story has several drug and alcohol references and one violent scene. Just be advised) (Wings of Fire belongs to the goddess, Tui T. Sutherland, and this is just a fanfiction. I only own the characters and town, not the tribes or world)

He thinks Starflight is a tool for his plan and makes him fly back to the Nightwing Volcano. There, he learns that the Nightwings plan to invade the rainforest and win the war for Blister.
