Full Throttle

Rumours are flying like crazy around Somerset High and fifteen-year-old Isobel Jones is reeling after being outed by her best friend, Chase Donovan. Everyone at school is avoiding her like the plague as if her bisexuality is contagious and she feels completely hopeless.

This leads to her lying about having a secret girlfriend to her former friend from middle school, Anna Matthews, in an attempt to prove that she isn't embarrassed about her sexuality. Immediately after saying this, Isobel feels like a complete idiot because there is no secret girlfriend and she's pretty sure Anna knows this. That is until a girl she's never met, Melissa Kingston, joins the conversation and announces that she is the girl Isobel has been dating.

It is on this random Monday that the lives of the two girls are thrust together and they are sent on a journey of self-discovery where they try to figure out how to behave like the perfect couple when they don't know each other at all. The more time they spend together though, the more they realise they have a lot more in common than they once thought as they both clutch to music (specifically, Taylor Swift!) to drown out the cruel world around them. In the midst of all this, they are still trying to figure out how they actually feel about their lives, their sexualities and most importantly, each other...
