Destiny shifts as two boys wake up in a strange world without a clue as to who they are or what their purpose is. After stumbling across a patrol of a distant kingdom, their paths become clear as they work to learn more about where they possibly came from and why they seem to have such a strange connection to a kingdom they never knew existed. Darkness looms ahead however as strange messages begin to unfold the bigger picture.
All they know is that a great darkness is indeed coming, and they need to be prepared.
Star Borne follows the canon origin story of Frost Balance from Legend of the Balancers in the world of beings called Steves. Follow along Night's path as you unravel the true reasons why he joined the team in the first place.

*Idea goes to the other Rainbow Quest (AU) Books/Other Authors* Sabre, or Elan, was making another steve roleplay series for his YouTube Channel. Thinking it's the greatest idea, he started recording the first episode of Rainbow Quest, he calls it. While getting a video clip to put it with the other video clips, his computer screen started to glitch randomly. Leaving Elan confused, he went to inspect it. The screen became bright, blinding him. Covering his eyes with his arm from the bright light coming from the computer's screen, he was no longer in his room or in his house at all. Uncovering his arm and looking around, he realized he was no longer in his room. He looked at himself to see if he got injured. He wasn't injured, but what surprised him was that he was in his Minecraft skin. The Time of Reckoning was a drastic disaster that bled upon the world every thousand years when the Dark One awoken. From His prison harbored in the darkest depths of Hell, the Dark One would be unleashed and escape to the Overworld, where he would continue in his goal to conquer it. The books of legend spoke of a group of heroes, a group consisting of mighty powerful beings gifted by the Creator himself. This group of beings would stand against the Dark One, seizing him in his destruction, veiling his anger and sealing it back into the Underworld so the world above would be at peace once more. They called them Guardians. Unfortunately, these powerful beings had mysteriously disappeared five hundred years ago. Now, five hundred years early, the Dark One has awoken once more, intent on destroying the world and spreading the wicked illness of death. The Overworld burns, disease rots and withers away its surface. Its people are slaughtered, stolen away by the hands of death and fear. A young sorcerer witnesses it all. Sabre glanced at an erstwhile Steve floating in the midair, with Rainbow Steve right beside him. 'I've never thought we could see each other again, Time Steve,' with a second glance at another see-through figure next to the glowing pelt of Time energy, he added, 'Elemental Steve.' 'Only fate will tell,' Elemental Steve replied, smiling. Time Steve floated forward, his silver eyes sparkled with pride. 'The Steve Realm owes you a thanks for your aid.' He paused as Elemental Steve held out his right hand out, a swirl of Elemental energy emitted from his palm. Time Steve looked at his brother and smiled, as well as holding out his hand. Their energy merged together as a portal formed. 'We conducted a merge of Time and Space to bring you back home, to the overworld, and we brought back something you ought to have. May our paths cross sometime.' 'Be nice and jubilant. I would like to see you in yourself again.' Elemental Steve chuckled. 'Don't worry, I will.' Came Rainbow Steve's reply. 'Well I guess this is goodbye then...' Sabre walked up to the Steves, 'I wish you the best in guarding the universe, together.' With that being said, Sabre and Rainbow Steve pelted into the portal.
