Eighth-grader Hoshizora Miyuki is in for the adventure of her life, after meeting a small fairy and a princess, both from Marchënland, the land of fairytales! She is tasked with bringing a happy ending to their world and hers, but she can't do it alone! She and three new friends - the hot-blooded soon-to-be-ex-thief Hino Akane, the shy delivery girl Kise Yayoi, and the confident prankster(?) Midorikawa Nao - must become Pretty Cure and save the world from an unhappy end by the hands of the Bad End Kingdom!

The duo recruits a group with Love Momozono, Saki Hyuuga, Nao Midorikawa, Rin Natsuki and Elena Amamiya, and they named it "Go Cheerful Crew". Not long after Go Cheerful Crew is recruited, Maiya, a goddess who came from the Music World, searches for Precures to help her stop her cousin Souta, who became the Demon King due to his jealousy. With Aoi, Makoto, and the rest of GCC Casts are up to the mission Maiya gave them, they must work together to stop Souta and his organization, the Warumo Squad. During this mission, the entire GCC Casts will deal with Momona Aose, Kousuke Aoba, and the two fairies: Mary and Angelo.

Today in 20XX, technology has advanced so far around the world that now people are able to perform simple and complex tasks via the Cyberworld created by the famous software developer Shou Shori or commonly known as Prof. Shori. 10 years ago prior to the season, Prof. Shori had finally released a new revolutionary Cyberworld-exclusive game called "PrettyCure.exe" which initially personalizes the player's experience for example transforming and have the upmost fun while chatting with friends old and new. Aosemura "Nikko" Nikou is an ordinary ninth-grade student at Mitsukado Middle School who is mainly adored by girls for her performance in martial arts. People claim that Nikou is just a natural however Nikou loves playing fighting video games from day to night, hence why she's very good in martial arts. But her life turns another direction when a Terrorbyte attacks, Nikou doesn't hesitate to become a Pretty Cure and becomes Cure Glitch with her Navigator, Electro's help! Micro also explains that they need to collect all 12 Drive Chips. Along the way Micro regains the power to transform into Cure Pyro again, they also encounter Nikou's childhood friend Kanakusa Kasumi who also becomes Cure Tunes. Together these three girls form a brand new Digital Warrior Team, Drive Pretty Cure!

The Royale queen had some years ago adopted an orphan girl and raised her as her daughter. The Princess named Jenna got turned to stone and could only be freed by the pretty cure. In ancient times, a huge battle known as the "Battle Fight" was fought between creatures known as "Undead." There were 53 of them out there battling over on which of their species will dominate the Earth. The ones who won were humans, and thus, they populated Earth. While the Battle Fight was going on, a magical kingdom known as the "Trump Kingdom" fought against the Jikochuu and sealed the ruler away. In the present time, the kingdom was destroyed and conquered by the Jikochuu, who are now freed from the seal. The Jikochuu then started targeting the humans by manipulating their inner hearts. There was another trouble, the Undead. They were released from their seal by a team of archeologists who wanted to find the secret of eternal life. Now, a new Battle Fight has begun. The group of archeologists known as BOARD, which stands for the "Board of Archeological Research Department," had chosen two people to become Kamen Riders to hunt these Undead and seal them again. The same goes for the fairies of the Trump Kingdom as they will search for new warriors known as Pretty Cures to fight the Jikochuu, restore, and reclaim the Trump Kingdom.
