"Welcome to Fernwood." is a story that takes place in a 16-year-old boy's life, Rio Thomas Parkes. Rio likes to run around and have fun, and he absolutely loves the woods! Which is where he, his sister, and his father live. But one day his father gets a job offer in a small town known as Fernwood, which means he has to move away from the one place he's known his whole life and into a totally new place. Rio didn't want to move here, but he didn't have much of a choice... Will he get over it and make friends? Will this boy absolutely dread it and run away, back to his wonderland of adventure?
