If you hated what the video game Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League did to the incredible Arkhamverse and Kevin Conroy's legacy, this fan fiction story is for you.

*****

Five years have passed since Scarecrow terrorised Gotham and exposed Batman's identity to the world. With Bruce Wayne presumed dead and the remaining heroes having moved on with their lives in an era of peace, Earth finds itself vulnerable to the sudden invasion of a superintelligent android. This extraterrestrial being, calling itself Brainiac, aims to harvest the planet of its collective knowledge and power by enslaving the Justice League and, in doing so, bring about the end of all humanity.

Adrian Wells has survived everything life has thrown at him-until life threw him to Cadmus. A kid from Gotham with a cursed eidetic memory and a brutal streak born in the underground fighting pits, Adrian thought he'd seen it all. But nothing could prepare him for the horrors of Cadmus, the secret government facility where people like him-disposable, forgotten-are forged into weapons. Now free after years of torment and experimentation, Adrian isn't just another pawn in a metahuman chess game. He's a human weapon with one goal: burn down the people and systems that turned him into a monster. Armed with a body enhanced by alien technology, a brain that never forgets, and a fighting style that's as raw and relentless as his hatred, Adrian begins his bloody ascent through the criminal underworld, carving a path across DC's most dangerous cities-from Gotham to Blüdhaven to the heart of Cadmus itself. But revenge isn't simple in a world of gods and monsters. As Adrian moves through a landscape dominated by metahumans, corrupt corporations, and secret conspiracies, he finds himself caught between the shadowy forces pulling the strings-forces that see him as either a valuable asset or a loose end to be cut. Superman, Batman, and the Justice League? To Adrian, they're distractions, symbols of a world that only looks up while the rest of humanity drowns. Adrian Wells isn't a hero. He's not even sure he's human anymore. But if the League is humanity's hope, Adrian is its rage-raw, unrelenting, and willing to do what heroes won't. This is his story. A brutal tale of survival, revenge, and the gray line between man and weapon in a world dominated by titans. Welcome to Adrian's DC Universe. You won't forget him-just like he never forgets anything. 'Gotham.....I'm in Gotham.......I'M IN GOTHAM' Yes, yes you were 'What, what the actual hell is happening, is this a dream? Am I de'- You looked over towards the alley you just emerged from 'No....no no no no no no no' You slowly made your way deeper into it 'Please, for the love of whatever deity exists here please don't be him' You found the body 'Please be a copycat, don't be the real.....don't be...' You slowly turned over the body of the man that attacked you, the man you killed "Oh..... Oh no" The face paint gave him away, as you looked into the now dead eyes of the man. That classic maniacal grin spread across his features even in death. You just killed the Joker. Now with almost every hero and villain you know gunning for you, either for their form of "protection" or to just kill you, only one thought crossed your mind. "Well Fu"- *Currently being re-edited since the beginning of this book has some spelling mistakes I have over 1k reads, am I famous now? Can I like, be a jerk and get away with it? Look at all these PEASANTS, THEY DON'T EVEN KNOW A KING IS AMONG THEM-...I need some time to calm down this happy feeling in my chest. Btw, I don't own any art in the story. If the owner of any pictures in this story want me to, I will take those pictures out and replace them. Thank you. It's my first story as well so it probably won't be that good compared to other stories like this, but I hope you enjoy. My goal is at least 69k words, I'm such a maniac. Also I just realized I spelled Harley Quinn as Harle Quin in tags, and now my stories next to a bunch of Seven Deadly Sin stories.
