" You brought me to the car, and got in with me in the back seat. It appeared as if we were going for a car ride. You drove to an unfamiliar place, and slowed down. The car door opened and you shoved me out. I turned around and waited for you, but you never got out. Instead you closed the door and sped off down the road. I believed you would come back, i have been for the past 3 years. "

I shifted uncomfortably in my seat as he stared across the table at me. I could seriously drown in his eyes. He was intoxicatingly attractive and he had to know it. That's why he was acting strange around me. For some reason, he looked at me as if I was the only one there with him. As if nobody else were here. And his voice... it pained me. It actually pained me with how utterly seductive and husky it always sounded. And the way he smelled all the time. I don't know why he smelled so strong, but I didn't mind. He smelled like evergreens and a hint of mint. It sounds like a bad combo, but it dizzied me with how lost I got in it. The thought of not being able to control myself, my thoughts and feelings and body when I'm around him, infuriated me. I was so good at holding myself together now, and he just unraveled me so easily, leaving me a mess. I wasn't the slightest bit afraid of him, and I had no idea why either. Just being in the same room, I felt like I didn't have to look over my shoulder. I didn't have to worry. I didn't even know who he was, and he still drew me in. "So, you were in California before? Why did you move?" Grace Hatfield asked, looking at him. She is our school's college and career advisor. She took me in and adopted me a couple years ago. She even gave me her last name. A saving grace. Why had she invited him here? Why did he come? He turned to her with a smile and a shrug. "Guess I just hadn't found what I was looking for yet." Something about the way he said it, sent a shiver down my spine. Why did I feel like there was so much more meaning behind his words than he was letting on? "Well, I hope you find what you're looking for." Grace said, and he turned to me with a devilish smirk and a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Something tells me that I will."

An elementary aged wolf raised by humans. Everything changes after his first shift. A continuation of "Alpha Lilly". You can read it without reading the first but you'll know the characters better if you read them in order. The next book will be "Raised By Wolves" a werewolf pup adopted by wild wolves so check it out when it becomes available. Story excerpt "I was found bleeding in the road. They took me to the hospital and saved my life." I say "What were your wounds?" He aks. "Nope my turn. What is this place?" I ask knowing I'm testing his patience but he is obviously boss here and I want answers. "My pack." He answers "your injuries?" I dont know how to answer that so I turn away from him. I dont know what hurt me only the marks it left. "Answer ME!" His words make me stiffen and I feel my hands reach for the bottom of my shirt. I slide it off and turn to the man. A stand there chest exposed. I'm boney from lack of food and bruised from my foster father and brother. Amid all the fresh brusing three white lines stand out stretching from my shoulder to my hip. "This is what they were healing!" I yell trying not to cry. I remember the pain of the marks when they were fresh. Feeling embarrassed I put my shirt back on. "Rouges." The man whispers. "Those bruses." Ruby says from behind me. "The "Love" of my "family."" I tell her. "My turn." I say and the man turns back to me as he was facing the other adults. He raises his eyebrow and I take it as permission to continue. "What are rouges?" "Packless werewolves." He says. My jaw drops. werewolves? WEREWOLVES!? What the? "They are just a story." I say. "You know better than that." He says.

Du.H3ng transmigrated into a cripple. He's a cripple picked up by a fierce brother to be his husband. Brother (fierce): Don't think about leaving if you have bad legs. Be honest with me and I will definitely not starve you. Du.H3ng: ... He is a majestic old man, he is going to be reduced to soft food! Impossible, even if you cross it, I will never give in! --The next day, the brother came back from the field and saw that the dirty clothes he had changed the night before had been dried in the yard, there were three dishes and one soup on the table. Du.H3ng: As long as the food is cooked by oneself, it is not considered soft food. ------ At night, when Du.H3ng was about to turn on the lamp to sleep, the brother walked in, took off his clothes, and went to bed. Brother: Get things done quickly while the farming is slack. Just lie down and don't move around. I'l do it. Du.H3ng hugged the quilt and gritted his teeth, he had never even had a date, so innocent! This talent has to do things for three days, no way! He will never give in! --The next year, when the kid was running around in the yard, Du.H3ng put down his book and sighed, picked up the kid, and had to call his husband home for dinner.
