She meets the man she's dreamt of meeting since she was little, Rick Sanchez. She had only heard stories from her mother, who is extremely ill and has little time left.

This story will also follow Rick's POV at some points. Rick's story follows along him trying to find the very last existing Diane, way past the central finite curve.
