Queen Naerys Targaryen is the bastard daughter of Prince Daemon Targaryen. She was forced to marry her cousin the now King Aegon II, the usurper. 

There is nothing special about a bastard. But whose side is she on? The blacks, the greens? Or is she just fighting for her own survival.

She's has been seen as weak all her entire life. Vulnerable. Frail. Pathetic. All because she is a woman. You should never underestimate a woman.

Aegon fled after seeing his father being murdered and set out to travel among the Free Cities of Essos. After a few years of mercenary work, he settled near Volantis and started a family. Now his daughter, Visenya Blackfyre, is going on a journey that will change Westeros and Essos for generations. ~ I do not own Game of Thrones or any of the characters except my own~ I like to thank bobissocool11 for creating his book 'A Dragon's Flame'. It inspired me to write this story and it may have some overlap with that story. I highly recommend you read his/her story. Lastely, this is my first story ever. I hope you will enjoy it. The competition that this book was part of was FANATIC AWARDS. It got second place. The competition only consisted of three books, so take from it what you will.
