In the midst of an incredibly successful career as a photographer, Sophia Carter is left blind after a small accident claims what she needed most: her sight. Her best friend has let her mope around for months, locked up in their shared apartment to adjust to life without sight, but makes the decision to force Sophia to reinsert herself into the world once more. That's when Sophia meets Luke Hemmings, a soft-spoken yet witty man who has a gift for music. Luke instantly finds himself drawn to Sophia and begins to fall helplessly in love with the woman who has lost all hope.
