The Devil's Playground is based on four people living their lives in the modern world but out of the blue, suddenly the four people end up no-clipping into the backrooms reality, causing them to be stuck in the infamous backrooms that everyone knows about.
However, theres more to it than just these characters. Theres many agencies outside of the backrooms, in the real world, who are trying to discover ways to get in and out of the backrooms safely, test things on the entities they find, and discover how the backrooms really works. These agencies work under the government secretly and their main objective is to find out, what really is are backrooms?
Anyways, these characters don't know shit about what they are doing but there are four main characters. There is a main character named Athena Walker, who breaks out of prison, running in the forest to escape the police before she is no-clipped into the backrooms. Then there are the three friends, named Bianca, Jason, and Ethan, who are randomly no-clipped into the backrooms while doing stupid stuff on the streets. Athena wasn't the nicest person, she didn't get along with Bianca, Ethan, or Jason. Jason and Athena become enemies in everything, but Athena gets along with Bianca and Ethan. Plus, Bianca and Athena might have some things going on. The four of them realize they are stuck and can't get out without trying to stop the backrooms or even escape alive if they can. Can they do it? Perhaps.

Five young adults from the same area die from similar causes and all end up in the same place, Hell. The Sins they have committed are minor, but they're enough to get them into the Eternal Shit House. The Devil comes to each of them in many forms and hands them each individual tasks they must perform to see where they belong in Hell. Some have accepted their fate and work hard to be one of His Greats. Others try finding an escape and a second chance at Life and Heaven. If they fail these tasks, they're stuck back in line with no short cuts. May be a tad confusing to read because the perspectives bounce from first to third person depending on who's narrating. Every day here was the same, and Andilynn was getting bored of it. Meet Andilynn, a sixteen year old red-headed weirdo who now lived here because she technically killed her mom. It was an accident of course...Andilynn is a sweetheart. It's just she was born with Schizophrenia, a mental sickness that causes her to hear voices, have hallucinations, and fun things like that. Cricket was boring, and she wanted to leave, but when she tried, everything would go black, and the day would restart. Yes, restart. The first time the day had restarted, Andie woke up in her bedroom. She ran downstairs, nearly tripping over her own feet. Belle, Andie's grandmother greeted, "Happy Friday, dear." "Friday? N-n-n-n-no, we've already been through Friday." "Thursday was yesterday, dear." "But I-I just woke up on a Friday morning, like two hours ago." "Andie, we've talked to you about skipping taking your pills." And then the hallucinations would get worse. They were so realistic Andie could never tell reality apart from illusion. Andie thought leaving town would set her free from her past, sleeping with her friend's boyfriend, getting arrested, fighting with her dad. She had to find a way, but for some reason, life didn't want her to leave.Terminé

"What the actual fuck? There is a fucking goat in my locker. What the fuck is going on. There is a dog here too?" I can barely stand up because I'm laughing so much and Gabriel can't breath. "This is so funny. I knew this was a good idea." When Thea comes back to her hometown after being gone for a year she hopes to keep a low profile, and accidentally befriending her old friend, getting a panic attack when homecoming is mentioned in front of the whole school and getting arrested along with the principle for having a affair with him don't help her much. Add getting caught making out with your friend on the couch, pranking the school, going back to the gang she grown up with, taking her goat to school multiple times and accidentally fall into a classroom after sneaking around in the ventilation system because drugging her old school seams fun. Yeah, being back won't be easy and she won't go unnoticed like she hoped. THE FIRST CHAPTERS MAY BE BORING AND BAD. I WROTE THEM A WHILE AGO, BUT ENJOY ANYWAYS. WARNING, EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS BOOK IS PROBABLY ON DRUGS AND I HAVE THE WORST GRAMMAR BECAUSE ENGLISH ISN'T MY FIRST LANGUAGE, IF YOU SEE A GRAMMAR OR SPELL ISSUE, PLEASE COMMENT AND I WILL FIX IT. ⚠️this is a weirdcore/dreamcore type story, so please read with caution if it may cause you to dissociate!!⚠️ A young girl and her little sister have glitched out of reality, and are now in a liminal place. The girl has been here before, and is determined to get herself and her sister out of this place. However, when she runs into old friends, she finds out that she is one of very few humans who has successfully glitched here twice (let alone by accident). Now she needs to find out if 'home' is the place she grew up in, or if she really does belong here. She needs to make some tough choices. Stay here forever and send her little sister out on her own, or leave and risk injury, even death, if she gets taken through the backrooms for a third time after arriving back 'home' to reality.
