Most people that have to choose early can't exactly choose, the scanner chooses for them based on their brain capability. But Isadora is different. If she thinks about a certain city, that's the city she will be sent to. But when caught thinking about the fighting city of Omaro, all hell breaks loose for her as she is forced to compete with muscled, fully grown adults for a chance to survive in the metal city of Omaro.
