The Enclave in 2241 has discovered the Gate  keeping it Top secret with its location unknown.  Shortly after its discovery the oil rig had been destroyed, soon after they destroyed the gate shortly after the fall of Camp Navarro. Until late 2242 majority of enclave forces had moved to D.C were in Adams Air Force base a much larger gate had Been found. But with their hold on D.C crippled in 2277 majority of east coast forces and resources had moved through the gate to a Enclave Outpost a small underdeveloped base in the side of an mountain as a last attempt to save America while avoiding the destruction of the Mobile Base crawler by moving it in. After all enclave forces and resources were in they blew up the entrance knowing they could not let themselves be followed. With the way in destroyed behind them the enclave had begun to rebuild America
