The life you build with the one you love is often described as magical. Marrying the love of your life is a blessing many dream of. But love and marriage are not the same journey. Loving someone is one thing; protecting that love through the storms of family life is another.
"Mr. Jeo... are you certain you want to divorce your husband?"
The question echoed through the silent room.
I couldn't answer.
Almost instinctively, my hand drifted to my now-flat stomach.
The lawyer called again.
"Mr. Jeo?"
I closed my eyes for a brief moment before forcing the words out.
"Yes, Sir... I want a divorce."

LILIES OF DECEPTION
Life is unfair, umpisa pa lang ng buhay ko, alam ko nang ganito talaga ka-unfair and mundo. We sometimes think to ourselves.. "What did I do to deserve this kind of pain? This kind of treatment?" But in the end..? We will always be left alone with these kinds of unanswered questions. For me, love is something that we can fight for, but.. we're not always lucky enough to win. For how long will we have to fight for something that is so close yet too far to reach? I wanna stay here and forget reality.. I wanna run away, and it makes me wonder.. Does happiness really exist if I lived without you?
