Abandoned

The last thing Vox expected was for one of his close friends to bring him a newborn. Sure, she was somewhat cute, but Alastor's description of children molted his brain into thinking they were nothing but snotty, attention seeking brats, with no redeeming qualities whatsoever. It seemed like a curse from God himself having to hear ear-wrecking cries every few minutes or changing those filthy diapers. What in Hell would be worth all this torture?

Certainly not the wretched child.

On the other hand, Raphael practically jumped at the opportunity to become a parent to this homeless child he found on the streets of New York. Immediately he saw it as a second chance to right the wrongs of his own father and raise his kid the way he always dreamed of. Eventually the 2 men find even ground, but peace can only remain so long when you're acting off different defense mechanisms.

(I'm mad that there were no Vox x Child fanfics in this world, so Imma use a crackship to make one)
