Winner of Liberate Guernsey's 2024 LGBTQ+ writing competition, 'My Son' is a short story  focused on the fallout of a son coming out to his conservative parents - from the parent's perspective.

In this story, I intended to ask the question - are a parent's religious beliefs more powerful than the love for their son?
