The Mere Poet

The Mere Poet is the work of an amateur poet who is deeply in love with his friend Rina. It is his first experience with true love, and he expresses his feelings through learning poetry, knowing that Rina loves poem. However, he is afraid to reveal his true emotions and keeps his love for her hidden. Despite this fear, he finishes his work and bravely lends his poems to her. Unfortunately, Rina dismisses them as worthless emotions. All his passion and sacrifice became meaningless, including himself. Painful more than thorns is an empty vessel; the darkness and hollow in his chest make him just a mere poet. A mere lover.
