The whole mess of leaving started because Buck was mad. He hated the fact Bobby kept him from something he held and loved so dearly, and he hated that Bobby didn't seem to understand what made Buck so upset. When he left, he cried. His apartment was bare of everything that made it his, it was stripped of what made it a home-

And in a way Buck was also stripped of something, the major thing that made him Evan Buckley was taken, and no one around him seemed to understand the anguish of everyone blaming him for his issues. He had tried so hard to understand their point of things, he understood why they were angry, they had felt betrayed, and in a way that was bucks fault. But, they hadn't tried to understand why Buck was angry.

He told himself he understood why they were so angry with him, but he didn't. This is what led up to Buck leaving. He moved to Craig Colorado, a small town fit for the shell Buck was now.

He stayed there for three years, three years of bubbling hate and anger, an anger that weighed heavy on his chest and made it hard to sleep at night. He would've stayed in Colorado forever, but fate would have other ideas. He had to return to LA because his big sister

"A gift." One guard says to someone else in the room as he leaves. I groan in pain and scrunch myself into a ball, squeezing my eyes shut. Seconds later I hear shuffling and then someone is beside me. "Y/N?" Asks a voice. No- Bucky's voice. My whole body relaxes and I let out a soft breath. He's ok. ════ ⋆★⋆ ════ Staying together has always been the most important thing to Y/N Rogers. After the death of her mother left her an orphaned 15-year-old, her friendship with her older brother Steve and best friend Bucky mattered more than ever. She latched onto them, finding some bittersweet solace in their closeness. In turn, they finished raising her. The three were inseparable. Even now, six years later, nothing has changed. So when Bucky and Steve both leave to fight in the war the last thing she's going to do is stay in Brooklyn. Nothing's too far if it keeps their trio together. Not leaving everything she knows behind, not shoving down feelings she's refused to acknowledge for years, not even risking her life time and time again. It's the kind of commitment fueled by an infinite amount of love, but guaranteed to end in disaster, every single time. 17 parts Ongoing

This is my first (technically second) 9-1-1 story, but first one to be posted. P.S., slow updates. Summary: Maddie Buckley never wanted to marry Doug Kendall. She never wanted to kick her brother Evan "Buck" Buckley out of her life in the first place. Four years ago, Maddie gave birth to the most beautiful little girl, Stef Buckley-Kendall. Now, while Stef grows up with her current stay-at-home mom Maddie, she learns about what Doug likes or dislikes. Life is harsh and terrifying. Stef doesn't speak unless allowed around Doug. What happens when Christmas Eve shows up, and she and Maddie are given the chance to flee Doug in Boston? Will they take it to get to Freedom, or are they forever trapped?
