One day, after the fall of the prison, Adelaide meets Carl by saving him. The three girls stick with them and soon grows attached to everyone in the group and vows to protect Judith as she does her sister. But some promises are broken.

Her and Carl form a friendship quickly which leads to a relationship. He would sacrifice himself for her. And she'd do the same. And she does
