Jestin Ames is just another girl, among the many, who wanted at least something in her repetitive, too perfect, too boring life to go awry. Something to make her special, and not so ordinary life, well not ordinary!
 She drowned herself in books, and even put herself in harms way to gain the notice of whoever dishes out luck. 
Because at this point in her life, she wanted the unlucky side of the coin. And, with her investigative skills, and incessant negotiating, she was sure she could make even this "magical being" strike a deal.  She wanted change.

You ask, how is that possible? Well, Jinri been around for thousands of years or even more, cause of the fact that she blends in with the human world, being the only vampire alive, or so she thought. Thinking the man that she once loved, was gone for good. But somehow he's back and he isn't to happy.
