However, Y/N has a problem of his own, a fight against his own darkness if you will, whilst intertwining with these Guardians in ways he never imagined. Y/N has been battling with cancer, incurable under most circumstances, and is now reaching his final shape. The fireteam of guardians and Y/N eventually discover that even in the face of death, love and friendship can blossom. This tale explores the power of what a connection can do in face of inevitable loss.

The Hidden Truth (A Destiny Fanfiction) by Kay-Likes-Pie

Ezekiel (Zero) lived alone with his sister, Maya for most of his life. Forming the fireteam Hidden Power, with the help of a curious Exo Huntress and a sarcastic human Warlock, they fought to purge the Darkness in the name of the Traveler. ~~~ This was first video game fanfic. My obsession towards Destiny, and adoration towards the "Chronicles of a Warlock" series by @bad-juju inspired me to write my own fanfiction, and I'm pretty happy with how it all turned out. The Hunters scout out terrain, reclaim Dead Zones, and are the eyes and ears of the City- the Warlocks research the secrets of the fundamental ideas of the Darkness, predict future events, and enthrall themselves in the workings of the Light to understand it and to find new ways to work it into the Guardians arsenal- and finally, the Titans, Defenders of the Last City, and the burning lights of hope in the shadows. Honor-driven. Leaders. Warriors. The Protectors of Humanity. Deeply intertwined in the history of the Last City.
