Katara, a lovely and ambitious Southern waterbender, is chosen as the first maiden from her tribe to be brought to Fire Lord Iroh's court during its Bride Season when thirty-six eligible young ladies compete for Crown Prince Zuko's hand. She moves into the Lotus Villa, the part of the palace where she and the other potential brides are kept safe, and befriends the front runners in the Bride Season despite her blossoming feelings for Prince Zuko. 
But life at court isn't all parties and dashing suitors. Katara is swept up in political rivalries which threaten her new friends and the prince she loves.All Rights Reserved
