Crossing Lines

In 1987, a 17 year old girl named Ana (it's pronounced (ah-na) not (an-na) (I hope that makes sense :3) Ana a Mexican girl who lives in the ghetto, like most people. Since she is a person of color she often deals with racism a lot, given it also being the 80s. Ana just got out of a messy relationship with another fellow latino. Then a new kid shows up. His name was Micheal. But he's white...!? There were obviously white kids at their school but this one...was different to say the least. At first Ana didn't think anything about it, then things took a different turn. The latina girl and gringo boy soon start to fall for each other??? This couldn't be. Ana promised herself she would never love someone ever again or be in a relationship after her previous one. Especially with a white boy!? Do Ana and Micheal end up together?
