Mia Blaire was born at the hospital like every other baby. And she was like every other baby, until she was stolen from her mother. She was taken by a scientist to be tested on. Mia wasnt the first though, the scientist had taken many other kids before her. They tried making her a superhero. From that, she gained mind reading abilities. But she could only read one person's mind at once. It was a blessing and a curse. Sometimes she found out things she wasn't supposed to.

Luckily she was able to escape and was adopted by a nice, rich family. They loved her like she was blood. But when she turned 18 she decided to move back to the city she was born in. They were fine with it and paid for everything she needed as long as she kept in touch. She had already graduated and planned on taking a gap yeah before college. So when the summer came, she thought a job would be a fun thing to do.

Little did Mia know, that little job at a coffee shop would become more than just "a fun thing to do".
