Will her curiosity get the better of her and seek out this mysterious man? Will she continue to live as just an ordinary broadcaster? Or will she join him in hell?

A serial killer is on the loose in New Orleans, killing his victims with their ax. Detective Anderson, appointed to these murders, is on the case. After the axman sends a letter referencing Shelley's "Alastor," the police department nicknames the axman: Alastor, The Radio Demon. . . **** At the same time, Alfred Collins (Al) a radio host in New Orleans meets his friends cousin, Rosalie Williams. His two friends, Katherine and Nick Price, are newly weds trying to survive the depression, and take Al on many different excursions to suppress their current economic situation. However, fear breaks loose when the newspapers show headlines on the axman's letter: "One thing is certain and that is that some of your people who do not jazz it out on that specific Tuesday night (if there be any) will get the ax."
