This is my first story. Akir was banished from his home country --- a small piece of land with one small town governed by a mayor --- for a crime he didn't commit. Now he must sail the seas in hopes of finding other land that he and his crew could settle upon and call home. When challenges occur will he make the right choice or not? Read to find out! DISCLAIMER: I know very little about sailing and government so this is not accurate, but I will try to make it as accurate as possible for a fiction story! Also expect slow updates it's hard to come up with ideas on the fly with no motivation what so ever. Hope you enjoy!

Being a king is hard. Raising a son is hard. Living with eternal grief is hard. King Thranduil is just trying to keep his kingdom running and his son safe when an elf is found with orcs at the border of Greenwood. Who could this mysterious elf truly be? But then the elf he rescued in the forest grows closer to Legolas, and Thranduil can not help but enjoy her company as well. Darkness descends over the forest, all because of this one elf. When lives are threatened, Thranduil must make a choice: his kingdom or his heart. 12/14/21- y'all I wrote this in high school and I kinda want to go through it again and do a bunch of editing. Some of my writing makes me cringe and what are we here for if not improvement. That being said, this story will change starting today probably and if you're in the middle of it, hopefully I don't confuse details or timelines for you. If you've already read it once and just felt like you had to read it again, maybe it will provide some new enjoyment. Who knows? Maybe I'll actually finish some other stuff I have on here.
