Life has always sucked for Kassidy Madilynn Elliot. She's 16, doesn't have many friends, and is bounced around from one crappy foster home to another, with some stints on the streets in between. Kassidy always thought the universe must have hated her because after one particularly bad beating from her drunk foster father, Kassidy packed her stuff and ran only to be killed by a drunk driver a few days later. Kassidy hated that she was killed by a drunk driver of all things, but she also figured she would finally get to be at peace. Only that didn't happen. Instead, she woke up as Kassidy Madilynn Forbes, sister of none other than Caroline Forbes from the Vampire Diaries, a TV show Kassidy would watch to escape her crappy reality.

Kassidy found herself reborn into the Vampire Diaries before the first season even started. Even with all the blood, death, and supernatural creatures, Kassidy figured she would still enjoy this life better than her last......and just maybe she could change things that happen and make it even better.
