Luke Hemmings could have just about any girl he wants, but of course he wants the one that doesn't like his band, his style of music or even his nicknames.
Emilee is not the type of girl who is impressed by a boy in a band, especially one that writes lyrics about underwear and drowning.
Though she refuses to like the music, when she grows close to the band members, Luke in particular, she finds that liking a band is different to liking their music.
